Parent Engagement: Strategies for Involving Parents in School Health
Contains strategies for parents and schools to work together to support students learning and development, including the importance of parents in risk behavior reduction, ways to connect with parents, supporting volunteer opportunities, and ways to connect at home and parents as collaborators in the school setting.

School Connectedness
Research has shown that young people who feel connected to their school are less likely to engage in many risk behaviors, including early sexual initiation, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use, and violence and gang involvement.
