School Health Policies and Practices Study (SHPPS)- CDC assessment of school health policies and practices in the US. It assesses the 8 components of school health at the elementary, middle, and high school levels:

Schools can use SHPPS data to evaluate their own school health policies and practices against state and national averages in developing and implementing programs or strategies which support healthy youth and learning environments.


State School Health Policy Database-
Provides state-level school health policies for: competitive foods and beverages, physical education and physical activity, and administration of medication in the school environment. It also includes state by state requirements for School Nurses, including education and staffing and indicates which political entity or agency adopted the policy or issued guidance.
