2022 HIV Surveillance Data and ETE Metrics

In 2022, 2,318 people were newly diagnosed with HIV in New York State, of which 81% were linked to care within 30 days and 58% achieved viral suppression within 3 months of diagnosis. Of 104,124 New Yorkers living with diagnosed HIV in 2022, 87% had evidence of care and 79% were virally suppressed.
