Violence Against Nurses Law

Violence Against Nurses Law Penal Law Part 3 Title H Section 120.05 Assault in the Second Degree. Enacted on November 2, 2010 
The Violence Against Nurses law offers nurses the same protection as police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians. Patients who physically attack nurses could serve seven years in prison.
