Clarification on the Board of Regent’s adoption of Commissioner’s Regulations on Health Education (NYSED 5/21/18)
Reviews amendments to Commissioner’s Regulations, Education Law §804 requiring that health education in schools must include instruction in mental health. It also states that the instruction must be designed to enhance student understanding, attitudes and behaviors that promote health, well-being and human dignity.
