Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL)
Provides resources for the promotion of integrated academic, social, and emotional learning (SEL) for all children in PK-12 through evidence-based guidance and 500+ resources for systemic districtwide SEL implementation. Resources include an online suite of tools with guidance and support for districts and schools to implement high-quality, evidence-based SEL in their communities. Program Guides share evidence-based SEL programs being used by schools across the country. Two editions: preschool and elementary school; and middle and high school. CDC Healthy Schools
The Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model expands on the eight elements of CDC’s coordinated school health (CSH) approach and is combined with the whole child framework. CDC and ASCD developed this expanded model—in collaboration with key leaders from the fields of health, public health, education, and school health—to strengthen a unified and collaborative approach designed to improve learning and health in our nation’s schools.Mental Health is one component of this model.
