On 2/23/18 NYSED and NYSDOH released joint guidance and resources for managing Influenza in Schools. It has been added below and under Flu Vaccination and Resources on the Guidelines and Memos by Content Area Page of this website.
Schools play a key role in helping prevent and slow the spread of influenza in our communities. On this page are resources for sharing with families and staff on preventing seasonal influenza.

NYS Disaster Preparedness Resource:
Pandemic Flu Action Kit for Schools in New York State: The NYS Disaster Preparedness Commission is continuing its comprehensive planning for a potential pandemic. Staff from the State Health and Education Departments and a workgroup made up of county health officials collaborated in the development of a Pandemic Flu Action Kit for Schools in New York State.
