The Body Project is a selective eating disorder prevention program for young women with body dissatisfaction for high school and college-age students. This group-based intervention provides a forum for young women who have internalized the thin-ideal to critique it in verbal, written, and behavioral exercises. The website contains several empirical publications supporting the effectiveness of this intervention, copies of the actual facilitator manuals and participant's workbooks, links to helpful websites, and frequently asked questions (FAQ).
The Dove Self-Esteem Project and Discovery Education have teamed up to deliver the best in social and emotional learning (SEL), health, and confidence-building resources for educators teaching grades 4-5. It offers resources with engaging videos, free lesson plans on self-esteem, positive body image, bullying, and at-home support. (2021)
