SUPPORTING SCHOOL MENTAL HEALTH IN THE WAKE OF COVID-19: A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE

August 19th and 20th 9:00 am - 2:30 pm 

MHANYS is Co-Sponsoring a conference with the Northeast and Caribbean Region 2 of HHS and SAMHSA on the important subject of supporting school mental health in the wake of COVID-19. Leading national and state experts will be participating in this topical conference. MHANYS Director of School Mental Health Resource and Training Center, Amy Molloy, is one of the featured speakers.     

Join them for a two-day conference for K-12 educators, staff, and administrators focused on strategies to support the mental health of students and educators as they transition back to school (remotely or in-person).

Topics have been tailored to meet regional needs, but are open to all.  Hear from national and local experts on:

- Social-emotional learning
- Trauma-sensitive schools
- Crisis and loss
- Resilience
- Coping with anxiety
- Educator wellness
