Johns Hopkins Reopening Plans Tracker Is Now Available

NYSCSH has added the newly created Johns Hopkins eSchool+ Initiative Analysis of School Reopening Plans Tracker to our COVID page. It offers tools and resources for schools on caring for students during school closures and reopenings. The initiative includes expertise in ethics, school health, school policy, food security, clinical medicine, and education.

This interactive state tracker curates school reopening plans by state, as well as guidance documents by non-governmental organizations, along with six operational criteria:

Core Academics; SARS CoV-2 Protection; Before/After School Programs, including Athletics, Childcare, and Extracurriculars; Building Access & Student Transportation; School Health Services; and 6) Food and Nutrition, and six ethics and equity criteria: Parent Choice; Teacher and Other School Personnel Choice; Children with Special Needs/IEP/ESL/Gifted & Twice Exceptional; Children of Poverty, Children of Color, Systematic Disadvantage (Low-Income Parents & Parents who are Essential Workers); Privacy; and Engagement and Transparency.
