Springboard to Active Schools (an initiative of the National Network of Public Health Institutes and Health Resources in Action) is hosting a webinar titled Integrating Classroom Physical Activity: Putting Strategies into Action on December 4 at 3:00-4:00 PM EST.  This webinar provides an in-depth look at the new Strategies for Classroom Physical Activity in Schools and related practical resources released earlier this month and developed by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Springboard to Active Schools, with input from public health and education experts nationally. This webinar will highlight the unique role of district and school-level partners to promote, implement, enhance, and sustain classroom physical activity.

Through this webinar, partners will:

  • Learn about the classroom physical activity strategies and related resources;
  • Identify their role in promoting classroom physical activity at the state and community-level; and
  • Explore how to use the classroom physical activity resources to support their school or schools in their district or state.
